AC-BT24 won’t connect to Android phone after Android 12 update

So you’ve just installed the Android 12 update on your Android device and now it suddenly won’t connect to your AC-BT24 after it was working flawlessly before! No worries my friend, just a few steps to perform to get it back up and rockin’ again.

1) Open Settings 

2) Scroll down to ‘Apps’

3) Locate ‘DM Smart DSP’ in menu and open

4) Open ‘Permissions’ 

5) Under Not Allowed you’ll see ‘Nearby Devices’, open that and select ‘Allow’

6) Under ‘Allowed’ you should see Location and Nearby Devices now 

Should be good to connect now

If you happen to open up the app, it connects but gets stuck in the ‘please wait’ loop, try these steps…

1) Delete the app

2) Reboot your phone

3) Reinstall the app

4) Remove the USB cable from the DM unit (or D-series amp)

5) Now reboot the DM unit/amp

6) Try to reconnect without having a USB connection to a computer
